Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AudioCreepz, LLC ("Company," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use AudioCreepz (the "Platform"). It works alongside our User Agreement. By using the Platform, you agree to this Policy.

Information you give us:

• Account and profile data: name/display name, email, password (stored hashed), role (artist, vendor, fan, admin), bio, location (city/region), photo, genres, instruments, and other profile details you choose to add.
• Content you post: music, audio, video, images, captions, links you share (e.g., YouTube/Vimeo URLs), comments, and collaboration data including split sheets.
• Vendor/venue/studio listing details if you create them.
• Payment-related data you submit for subscriptions, tips, bookings, or sales. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor, Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers.
• Communications you send us (support requests, contest entries, feedback).

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: pages viewed, content played, likes, shares, votes, follows, watch time, and similar activity.
• Device and log data: IP address, browser/device type, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).

Information from third parties:

• If you sign up or log in via a third-party service, we receive basic account info from that service.
• Public metadata about videos you link (e.g., a YouTube video's title and thumbnail).
• Analytics and infrastructure providers.

We use information to: create and manage your account; operate core features (profiles, posting, streaming/embedding, discovery, collaboration, contests, marketplace); compute ratings, feeds, and recommendations; process payments and payouts; prevent fraud, abuse, and rating/vote manipulation; provide support; send service and (with consent where required) marketing messages; comply with law; and protect the rights and safety of users and the Company.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

• Publicly, by your choice: your profile, posts, links, comments, ratings, and contest activity are visible to others.
• Service providers who run the Platform for us under contract: hosting/infrastructure, payment processing (Stripe), email/SMS, analytics, and content delivery.
• Other users, where features require it (e.g., a collaborator sees split-sheet data; a vendor sees an applicant's profile).
• Legal and safety: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our terms, or protect rights, property, and safety.
• Business transfers: if the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

• You can view and edit most profile information in your settings, and delete your content or account at any time.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To make a request, contact support@audiocreepz.com.
• You can opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link. Service messages are not optional while you have an account.

Subscriptions, tips, bookings, and sales are processed by Stripe. Their handling of your payment data is governed by their privacy policies. We receive limited transaction information to operate payouts, fees, and records. You are responsible for your own tax obligations on amounts you receive.

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, secure the Platform, and understand usage. Embedded third-party players (e.g., YouTube) may set their own cookies when you interact with them. You can control cookies through your browser, though some features may not work without them.

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, then for a reasonable period to comply with legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution needs, after which we delete or anonymize it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a strong, unique password and keep your credentials private.

The Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact support@audiocreepz.com and we will delete it.

The Platform is operated from the United States. If you use it from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries with different data-protection laws.

We may update this Policy and will post the new version with an updated date; for material changes we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
